craft breweries and world class wineries
Margaret River is a small town about 3 hours south of Perth. The township of Margaret River is nestled between vineyards and towering Karri forest. The locals mainly consist of surfers, winemakers, artists and people who enjoy an alternative and more laid-back lifestyle.
Margaret River is known for its craft breweries and world-class wineries. We take you to do many free tastings on our tours including the delicious cheese and chocolate factories. Margaret River is also well known for its great surfing beaches. With some of the best waves in Australia located around here, it also hosts the Margaret River Surf Classic in March each year.
Lonely Planet recently voted Margaret River as the Best in Asia Pacific 2019 so you know when you visit you’re in for a treat.
The Margaret River region also features one of Australia’s best Indigenous experiences at Koomal Dreaming. You’ll be amazed by this experience as you journey underground into Ngilgi Cave where you’ll be mesmerised by a live didgeridoo performance, storytelling and traditional fire-making. You’ll also take a bush walk and learn how to identify traditional plants, foods and medicines.
The south-west of Western Australia is also home to the Valley of the Giants and this is as impressive as it sounds. We spend time exploring the ancient tingle forests and if you are feeling brave you can climb the 51 meter tall Diamond Tree which will get your adrenalin pumping. You’ll also be able to do the treetops canopy walk and really feel reconnected with nature and be amazed by the beauty of this region.
