The seafood capital of Australia and a culinary tourist’s dream!
Port Lincoln is home to Australia’s largest commercial fishing fleet. It is renowned for its Southern Bluefin tuna, King George whiting, Western King prawns and Southern Rock lobster (that’s the seafood variety not the B52’s hit song).
The seafood from these waters is some of the most sought-after in the world. And while the seafood is great, it’s also home of the great white shark and the incredible adrenalin-pumping experience of shark cage diving!
The region has stunning coastal scenery, beautiful national parks and opportunities to get up-close to native wildlife. The koalas of Mikkira Station are always a favourite with so many of them in the trees surrounding you.
