5 Reasons to jump on board our Margaret River tours from Perth!

1. Margaret River

Margaret River is nestled between vineyards and towering Karri forests. The locals are a community of surfers, winemakers, artists and people who enjoy a laid-back lifestyle. Known for its craft breweries and world-class wine, you’ll have the opportunity to taste lots of local produce including wine, craft beer, cheese and chocolate. Do what most people don’t and get another perspective of the river by jumping in a canoe for a two-hour paddle.

2. Koomal Dreaming Cultural Experience

One of Australia’s best Indigenous experiences, this is a personalised, two-hour tour with Wadandi custodian, Josh “Koomal” Whiteland. He will introduce you to the world’s oldest living culture with his authentic and personal interpretation. His didgeridoo performance deep underground in the beautiful Ngilgi Cave ‘amphitheatre’ will be a moment you’ll treasure forever.

3. Walpole & The Diamond Tree

Surrounded by a national park, the amount of dense forest in this region provides a sense of isolation and remoteness. Picturesquely situated by the tranquil waters of the Walpole Inlet, this is the only place in the South West Region where enormous Karri Forest grows right down to the ocean. Climb the 50-metre Diamond Tree, a native karri tree once used as a fire lookout. It’s 1 of only 3 wooden top-towers in the world.

4. Greens Pool & Elephant Rocks

The magical Greens Pool lies on the edge of William Bay National Park. It is famous for its turquoise green waters and pristine white sandy beach. Large granite boulders surround the pool, protecting it from the Southern Ocean. Almost completely sheltered from the waves, Greens Pool is total paradise and a safe swimming spot with its calm waters all year round. Just down the road is the equally stunning Elephant Rocks whose name is derived from a series of exposed rocks, which resemble a herd of elephants. Elephant Cove has a sacred feel to it, perhaps because it is rumoured to have been an Aboriginal birthing place over the centuries.

5. Our Guides

Our talented and professional guides are the best in the business. They know this region like the back of their hands! They share our philosophy and passion for the environment. And they have extensive knowledge of native plants, wildlife and Indigenous culture. The quality of a guide can make or break your whole experience. We can assure you our awesome team of guides are on a mission to make sure you have the best trip possible! They’ll show you all the highlights but also take you off the beaten track to places you’d never find otherwise!

Featuring nature, wildlife, food and wine, hiking and culture, this tour showcases the best of the south-west in six fun-filled days.

If you have less time, we recommend our 3 Day Margaret River Tour. This tour is available as charter for groups of 6 people or more. And it offers options for staying in comfortable accommodations.
