To say this is an animal lovers haven, is an understatement!

Kangaroo Island and its seven precious regions are so diverse that in the North you will be cooling off in sheltered swimming spots whilst in the South you’ll be greeting resident Sea Lions of Seal Bay and sandboarding the dunes of Little Sahara! To the East discover two of the island’s four major towns, Kingscote and Penneshaw and in the west you’ll unearth the rugged terrains of Flinders Chase National Park.

Feast on baked treats, chutneys, seafood, olive oil, honey, eggs, cheese, and yoghurt. And quench that thirst with locally brewed craft beers, and homegrown grape and juniper juice! dose

Once fuelled up you’ll be raring to further discover the flora and fauna of this wonderful land. Just make sure you’ve eaten your carrots, as under the cover of darkness you can spy the world’s smallest penguin species, the Little Penguin (A.K.A the Fairy Penguin, the Blue Penguin and the Eudyptula Minor).

Residing in Flinders Chase National Park this tiny sea bird hits the waters by day for fear of large predators, hence viewing is best after dark. Flinders Chase is also home to the striking coastal rock formations of the Remarkable Rocks and stalactite-covered Admirals Arch, most definitely worth a visit in the light of day! And come late winter through to spring, witness the native trees show off their vibrant blooms throughout the Heartland region of the island. You couldn’t ask for more of any location!
