5 Reasons You Should Do This Tour

Cape Le Grand National Park

Pristine and perfect are two words that reflect the absolute beauty of Cape Le Grand and the descent into the park will take your breath as the expansive Lucky Bay materialises in front of your eyes.   Here you will find an ocean coloured all imaginable shades of blue and sand so white and fine it squeaks between your toes.  It has twice been judged Australia’s whitest sand!   You’ll find loads of native wildlife in this park including the local Western Grey Kangaroo’s who love nothing more that lazing on the beach soaking up the rays. We also embark on two world class hikes in this park that are often highlights of the tour.

Koomal Dreaming Cultural Experience

One of Australia’s best indigenous experiences, this personalised two-hour tour with Wadandi custodian Josh “Koomal” Whiteland, will introduce you to the world’s oldest living culture with his authentic and personal interpretation.  A didgeridoo performance deep underground in the beautiful Ngilgi Cave ‘amphitheatre.’ will be a moment you’ll treasure forever.

Margaret River

Margaret River is nestled between vineyards and towering Karri forests and the locals mainly consist of surfers, winemakers, artists and people who enjoy a laid-back lifestyle.  Known for its craft breweries and world class wine you’ll have the opportunity to taste lots of local produce including wine, craft beer, cheese and chocolate. Cheers to that! Margaret River is well known for its great surfing beaches with some of the best waves in Australia, which you’ll check out as well.

Walpole & The Valley of the Giants

Surrounded entirely by national park, the amount of dense forest in this region provides a sense of isolation and remoteness.  Picturesquely situated on the tranquil waters of the Walpole Inlet, this is the only place in the South West Region where enormous Karri Forest grows right down to the ocean.  We spend time exploring the ancient tingle forests walking among the treetops on the Valley of the Giants canopy walk and climbing the 51m Diamond Tree, if you’re up for it!
