dramatic seascapes and coastal rock formations
Kangaroo Island
nature reserves & abundant wildlife

Combine two of South Australia’s highlights of Kangaroo Island and the Eyre Peninsula on our 5 Day South Australian Wildlife Adventure.  It’s hard to describe the beauty of Kangaroo Island in words so you’ll just have to come and see for yourself!  Kangaroo Island lies 13km off the mainland of South Australia and over one third of the island is protected in nature reserves.  The wildlife is so abundant it is often referred to as a natural zoo!

The Seal Bay Conservation Park on Kangaroo Island’s south coast is the only place in the world where you can walk among endangered Australian sea lions. Explore the iconic Remarkable Rocks as you marvel at its dramatic seascapes and coastal rock formations.  At Admirals Arch on Cape Du Couedic you’ll see more wildlife with the resident fur seals frolicking in the ocean or basking on the rocks.

spoilt for choice
50 beaches and counting

There are over 50 beaches on the island so when it comes to having a swim you are spoilt for choice. You’ll get some free time if you want to do some kayaking on the stunning Harriet River, go for a self-guided walk or trail bike riding.  Kangaroo Island is of course known for its massive sand dunes where you’ll do some sandboarding and at Little Sahara.
