Day 1
Adelaide to Port Lincoln

An early start indeed but to fit all these amazing wildlife experiences in its required! See the sights of Port Pirie, Port Augusta, and Cowell then head west to Port Lincoln, the seafood capitol of Australia and home of the epic adrenalin experience of shark cage diving!

After arriving in Port Lincoln around 1pm and checking into our accommodation at the Port Lincoln YHA we’ll head to Mikkira Station for a wander around the grounds in search of koalas and native Port Lincoln parrots. We’ll then head to Whalers Way for some stunning views of the coastline and back to town.

Day 2
Port Lincoln – Shark Cage Dive or Whalers Way

Depending on your love affair with fear, today you’ll either be diving into the world of Great White Sharks or taking a more relaxing option checking out some land based wildlife. If you choose to stay on land in the morning you’ll take a walk up Stamford Hill in Lincoln National Park followed by some lunch. Then we head to Glen Forest Wildlife Park to hand-feed a few critters.

Choose shark diving and you’ll be boating out to sea, changing into dive gear and invited to hop in a cage for a meet-up with some real monsters of the deep. These are some critters we don’t suggest hand-feeding.

There are two options for shark cage diving:

Shark Cage Diving with Calypso Star Charters       $395pp + $100 on board payment

Calypso Star Charters was the first one day shark tour in Australia and offers passengers the chance to get up close and personal with one the planets most feared creatures, the Great White Shark.

Take a 2.5 hours cruise out to the Neptune Islands on this full day tour spending a minimum of 45 minutes in the cage with 7 other adrenalin junkies.

The tour departs at 6.30am and includes breakfast, morning tea and afternoon tea. When booked through us direct a wetsuit and video highlights package valued at $75 is included in the price!

Check out all the trips details and amazing video footage over here at Calypso Star Charters.

Shark Cage Diving with Adventure Bay Charters       $395pp + $125 on board payment

This full day tour out to the Neptune Islands gives people the opportunity to shark cage dive with 5 of their adrenalin junkie friends or stay dry in the world’s first Shark Aqua Sub. These guys are an eco-friendly, no chumming option, instead pumping out AC/DC underwater which apparently is the great whites favourite band!

The tour departs at 6.30am and includes breakfast, morning tea and afternoon tea and returns around 6.30pm.

Check out all the trips details and amazing video footage over here at Adventure Bay Charters.

After your adventure packed day you’ll head back to the YHA for your dinner and a good night’s rest!
