Authentic and unique experiences with a passion for sustainability and the environment.
We love our backyard here on South Australia’s wild Eyre Peninsula and sharing our piece of paradise with travellers from all over the world is our absolute passion! An Australian family owned and operated company, we specialise in wilderness and wildlife adventures for small groups and have been sharing our incredible destinations between Adelaide and Perth for the past 15 years. Nullarbor Traveller is one of three business we own and operate from our home Coodlie Park Farm Retreat
Outback Camping Tours of South & South West Australia
We might not have any “tourism icons” but we do have some breathtaking scenery, world-class wildlife encounters and authentic experiences that will create memories of a lifetime. Sleep under the stars in swags, do incredible hikes and learn about Indigenous culture. Explore regions such as the Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island and the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Discover the outback of the Nullarbor Plain and the white sandy beaches of the South West of Western Australia. Choose some optional tour extras like cage diving with Great White Sharks in Port Lincoln! Our tours will leave you inspired and reconnected!
An Eco Friendly & Sustainable Business
Our passion and commitment for sustainability and the environment is shown through our Eco-Accreditation and we are the only 100% carbon neutral company in Australia planting 1.2 hectares of trees on our 3000 acre accommodation property Coodlie Park each year. We are also a WWOOF host and offer a unique experience for travellers to come and live with us, in the remote outback destination with your very own private beach. Many travellers choose to stop here for a few nights, weeks and even months to relax and plant trees to offset their own travel footprint.
Accommodated Touring Options
Our sister company Xplore Eyre offers tours to the same great destinations for small groups of 1-7 people. We also offer private tours and group charters up to 21 people. Travelling in executive 4WD’s and staying in 3.5-4.5 star accommodation, these tours are perfect for those who would like the same great experiences but with some extra comfort.
Come and visit our backyard. Adventure awaits!
What We Offer
Our guides are carefully handpicked and we think are among the best in the business! They are super experienced and professional, filled with knowledge, passion, enthusiasm and an absolute commitment to you to give you the experience of a lifetime.
This is Australia and it is damn big, so if you are doing any overland tour you’ll be spending a bit of time on your bum watching the world go by, but you’ll see seeing so much more this way. We travel in air-conditioned mini buses which can accommodate up to 18 people but for your comfort where possible we only take 15 people. 15 of your new best mates.
In addition to our tours we own Coodlie Park Farm Retreat which is a remote 3000-acre property situated on the spectacular Eyre Peninsula, 700km west of Adelaide. We are certified WWOOF hosts and always on the lookout for hard working travellers who share our passion for the environment and want to offset their own travel footprint while they are in Australia.
We are proudly an Eco-certified tour company that is not only 100% carbon neutral but the only company in Australia that offsets its own carbon footprint internally. All of our tours revolve around pristine destinations and precious wildlife and our passengers will feel truly connected to nature by the time they complete one of our tours.
The Nullarbor Traveller is now a part of the larger Australian Wildlife Adventures brand which also features mid-range accommodated tours on Great Australian Bight Safaris and personalised luxury tours on Xplore Eyre. So if camping under the stars is not your style you can jump over here to check out the other options.
Ever wondered what it would be like to experience a real Aussie outback farm? Well you get to do just that as our tours stop off for a night at our 3000 acre coastal/rural farm situated on the spectacular Eyre Peninsular, 700km west of Adelaide. This also gives you the chance to meet Hassie and Jo themselves.
